While mingling in Manhattan, or running down the aisles of Walmart. It is amazing to me the conversations that I encounter. Most times it begins with someone asking my opinion on what product they should purchase for their skin. And when I introduce myself as a Skincare Expert the conversation completely transforms into a consultation session with shelves of product as my treatment room. For the common stranger the opportunity to pick a "Estes brain" is very rare and I love every bit of it!
I begin by asking, "well what would you like to see improve with your skin?" Followed by, "what kinds of things are you experiencing that is making you concerned?" Usually the response has to do with hyperpigmentation, patchy looking skin, and acne treatments. But more so than often I am questioned about what they should give to their Husbands and their Sons to use. Of course this is when my light bulb goes off and I am elated to educate about the importance of Skincare for our Men!
